16 to 18 october 2018 – The SAGE (ATMOSPHERIC SCIENCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING) department of IMT Lille Douai organizes and hosts the last ACTRIS-2 WP3 Technical Meeting of the European project ACTRIS

The Research Infrastructure ACTRIS (Aerosol, Cloud and Trace Gases Research InfraStructure, https://www.actris.eu) brings together more than 100 laboratories of excellence from 25 different countries working on atmospheric sciences.

ACTRIS project is part of the ESFRI strategy (European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructure, https://www.ESFRI.eu) which aims at developing sustainable solutions to environmental challenges, providing Europe with the most up-to-date Research Infrastructures (RI) and excellence in earth system research.

Given its expertise in this area, SAGE department plans to become one of the European Topical Centre unit for Reactive Trace Gases.

In this framework, SAGE department is organizing the last Technical Meeting of the « ACTRIS-2 WP3 – Near-surface observations of aerosols, clouds and trace gases » from 16 to 18 October in Lille, which brings together around sixty researchers from different European institutions.
